The simplest way to get your email is through
the web. It can be done at almost any computer in the world with a
web browser. Just click on this link:
http://mail.saintbonifacesf.org/
For userid, you must type in your FULL email
address, like:
myemail@saintbonifacesf.org
(Not just "myemail") Enter your
password.
Please remember to change your password from the
original default.
How to set up your personal PC to access your
email (technical)
If you have your own personal PC and use email
frequently, you may wish to use a dedicated email program, like
Outlook, rather than a web browser to read your email. Here
are the set up instructions:
1. POP3 server is mail.saintbonifacesf.org
2. SMTP server is mail.saintbonifacesf.org
3. Username is in user@saintbonifacesf.org format.
If you're using Netscape mail, the username is in
user%saintbonifacesf.org format.
Eudora Users use: user%saintbonifacesf.org@mail.saintbonifacesf.org
4. Password is whatever you set it to be.
The FROM field in Outlook, Netscape, etc. MUST be your email
address of the domain you just signed up. i.e. user@saintbonifacesf.org.
Otherwise, you'll receive a message that you can't relay.

Safety Notes
Please help keep us all safe. Use
an anti-virus program like Norton or McAffee. Keep its virus
definitions up-to-date.
The danger with email comes from
"attachments", which are files that are sent along with
emails. Like the files on your PC, attachments can be harmless
documents or pictures... or they can be programs that control what
your PC does.
Please do not open attachments unless you know who
sent them. Even then be a little skeptical.
NEVER open an attachment that ends in
".exe"
It is an executable program.
Emails that seem to come from someone
you know may, rarely, be from a virus that has infected their machine
and is spewing poison messages to everyone in their address book...
